Our Move-In/Move-Out cleaning option delivers a thorough cleaning to prepare the home for you or the new family moving in! Please ensure that the home is empty prior to our service and that there are no other services being performed (movers, tradespeople, etc.) in the space.

 

Water and electricity must be available.

 

Please note, if the home is not completely empty, a $25/bag fee will be charged for removal. Services such as interior window/sliding door, oven, fridge, and cabinet cleaning can be added for an additional fee.

Our cleaners do their absolute best to provide exceptional service, but there are certain things that we cannot offer/guarantee. Liability, safety, and the highest quality are considered at all times. If you are unsure about your cleaning or an item below, please call us to discuss!

 

That said, the following are services that we DO NOT provide:

 

  • We cannot perform services while other services are being performed in or around the home (plumbing, painting, construction, etc.)

 

  • No lifting or moving of heavy items (refrigerator, stove, tables, etc.)

 

  • No moving vases, hung pictures, or other delicate items.

 

  • We are happy to load your dishwasher, but cannot replace dishes in cupboards once complete. We don’t want to break anything.

 

  • Cleaning any item or area that cannot be safely reached using telescopic cleaning tools and a step stool.

 

  • Removing excessive pet hair from upholstery.

 

  • Cleaning exterior windows.

 

  • Cleaning Mini Blinds. Our cleaners are happy to dust horizontal metal or plastic mini blinds, but we have found that they are easily bent or damaged if anything beyond dusting is attempted.

 

  • Removing strong odors (mould, animal waste, smoke, etc.) However, we will do our best.

 

  • Cleaning inside dishwashers and washing machines.

 

  • Cleaning light bulbs.

 

  • Cleaning rodent/insect infested homes.

 

  • Removing excess paint from surfaces.

 

  • Deep carpet/floor cleaning (steam cleaning, polishing, waxing, etc.)

 

  • Heavy marks/stains on walls, baseboards, other painted surfaces. We try to avoid any potential damage to your paint.
TRUST & SAFETY

Yes! Maid Sharks is both licensed and insured, and our cleaners are also covered by insurance. Your peace of mind is important to us, so we ensure that all aspects of our service are fully protected.

All of our cleaners are interviewed and pass a nationwide detailed background check. Only about 10% of the people that apply end up working as a Maid Sharks certified cleaner.

If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it. That’s our promise to you!

Absolutely, we prioritize the security of your billing information. Our booking page uses strong security measures, similar to those used by banks, to keep your information safe. Plus, we work with Stripe, a well-known payment processor, which also uses robust security methods to process your payments. Additionally, we don’t keep your credit card number in our system – we only save a special code that lets us process the payment after we’ve completed the service.

Yes, they do. We run a detailed nationwide background check on all applicants as part of our process.

We do not offer refunds; however, if something is not done to your expectations, please let us know within 24hrs. We’ll send a team out to make it right (within a 7-day window). Please review our Terms & Conditions for more information.

MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT

You can view your account, bookings, and make changes after logging into the client portal at the top right or bottom right of the page.

You can submit a password change request on the client portal page, which can be found at the top right or bottom right of the page.

Log into your account through the client portal and update your address and/or credit card on file. Alternatively, you can give us a call and we will update your address for you.

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

Absolutely. Simply enter your coupon (giftcard) code into the booking form as you are creating your booking. Your final price will automatically change to reflect your coupon balance. At any time you can log into your account and see the balance on any giftcards you have.

No worries! You can either email us at [email protected] or call/text us at 757-780-1060 and we will take care of it. Please give us at least a 24 hour notice, otherwise, there is a $79 cancellation fee.

We are currently providing services in the Gloucester County area of Virginia and surrounding areas. We will be expanding to additional areas in the near future.

For one, two and three bedroom homes, we typically send a single cleaner. If your home is large, and/or has four bedrooms or more, we’ll send a team of two or more depending on size and availability.

We price based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, and any extras you select on the booking form. We recommend booking a recurring clean as that provides the best pricing available.

Yes, we provide all cleaning supplies, products and equipment, unless there is a specific request for a certain service.
